Experience exceptional care with our team of compassionate professionals

Roxanne Bois (she/her/elle)
Owner

Speech-Language Pathologist, Reg. CASLPO #6376

True to my Zodiac sign -♊️- I am inquisitive, intuitive and communicative. I love all humans in all of their glorious diversity and I admire Nature to the fullest. I am the proud mother of four children and a plethora of plants, including fruit and vegetable gardens. With this in mind, I strive to operate an eco-friendly business with a focus on rural health throughout Northern Ontario.

I entered the world of Speech-Language Pathology over ten years ago following a short career as a high school teacher and the birth of my special needs son. As an SLP, I have extensive experience working with children and adults of all ages in a large variety of settings. I love all areas of practice equally, which makes me a great Generalist for the North. Now guided by a strong sense of duty and compassion, I am utilizing my short time here on Earth to help clients achieve success with communication and/or swallowing in a variety of languages thanks to our ever-growing team of like-minded professionals.

I would describe my approach as highly individualized. It involves choosing meaningful therapeutic goals that allow for connection through effective communication. I have always had a keen interest in expanding intervention beyond the walls of a stuffy and sterile therapy room, wherever that may be. I encourage creativity and accessibility without decreasing the effectiveness of interventions. Elmhub is where evidence-based practice gains even more traction by honing in on clients’ intrinsic motivation. In other words, when children are playing in a safe and known setting or outside in nature, they reach for the stars; when teens get to connect with an adult over an interest of theirs, they invest and when barriers are removed and adults feel heard, they attend therapy regularly, gain confidence and their results show their undeniable progress.

Sarah Wise (she/her)

Occupational Therapist

I am passionate about multidisciplinary work, de-stigmatizing social views for those who are often misunderstood and helping people find new ways to connect with themselves and others. Parent coaching and counseling are central to my work when supporting children and youth. I also create tailored programs for adults seeking nervous system regulation and healing. My training in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) offers an additional tool to support regulation across all ages.

I completed my Bachelor of Physical and Health Education with Honours in Health Promotion at Laurentian University and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University. I’m thrilled to be back in Northern Ontario, where my heart is, and to serve the communities I know and love.

I started my career working within the school system and now collaborate with schools as a private OT—providing education and support to staff, recommending sensory and physical equipment, and helping develop meaningful accommodations. I also deeply enjoy working with young adults who identify as “neurospicy” as well as supporting those navigating trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, ASD or ADHD. My psychotherapy-informed care integrates training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps foster safety, connection, and self-understanding.

In addition to my clinical work, I bring a unique background with over 10 years of experience in outdoor education as a sea kayak guide, instructor, and wilderness first aid instructor. I love weaving my occupational therapy knowledge with current research in nature therapy for clients of all ages who are interested in outdoor-based approaches—supporting goals like motor skills, anxiety management, and learning to engage in meaningful outdoor activities.

Outside of my work, I love reading fiction, hiking, paddling, and creating art—especially with clay and paint. Whether indoors, outdoors, or somewhere in between, my goal is to support each person I work with in discovering more ease, understanding, and connection in their own life.

Corry Allair (she/her)

Rehabilitation Assistant

I am a dedicated and passionate rehab assistant (SLPA, OTA) with over 20 years of experience working as a Designated Early Childhood Educator supporting early development and therapy for neurodivergent children. My heart lies in creating supportive, nurturing environments where every child can thrive. I’ve spent my career advocating for the unique needs of each child and family.

My approach is firmly rooted in Neurodiversity Affirmation, celebrating the individual strengths and ways of thinking that make each child unique. I believe that every child deserves a space where they feel understood, valued and empowered, and this belief guides all that I do. I am deeply committed to fostering inclusive, supportive spaces for children and their families across Northeastern Ontario.

Outside of my professional life, I love spending time in nature with my family—whether we’re hiking new trails, relaxing by the lake, or working in our garden. These moments remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and the joy of discovery—values I bring into my work every day.

Tracey Robbins (she/her)

Virtual Communicative Disorders Assistant

Hi! I am Tracey… with an ‘e’!

Many years ago I graduated from Georgian College: Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) program and University of Guelph: BASc.

I have always known that I would work with children in some capacity; but it wasn’t until the end of high school that I found my passion for speech and language during a Co-Op placement.  After graduation I began work in schools as a CDA and then as part of the team at a Children's Centre in Brantford.  When I started a family I knew that my kids needed me to be at home and that’s where I spent the next many years with my 3 incredible children.  After experiencing huge loss a couple of years ago a great friend and former co-worker helped me find myself back into a therapy room. Getting back to intervention, building rapport with families and helping children accomplish communication goals was exactly what I needed!  My cup continues to be filled and my heart warmed spending my days connecting and supporting families. My goal in every therapy session is connection. I am committed to meeting families where they are at and aspire to work together to best meet the individual needs of each client.

When I am not working I am with my friends, my kids and my two dogs: Murphy, a 13 year old Portuguese Water Dog, and Archie, a 2 year old Bernadoodle. I love spending time with family and friends travelling and exploring.  I am especially fond of ice cream, yoga and a good mystery/crime novel.

Kimberly Samuel (she/her)

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant / Music Therapist

Hello! My name is Kimberly and I am a Music Therapist Accredited (MTA) and a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). How did I get there? I first obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology from University of New Brunswick, followed by a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Acadia University. I then did a 1000-hour internship in Nova Scotia. After working for a couple of years in New Brunswick, I joined the team Music Therapy Services of Simcoe County in Barrie for 7 years, where I worked with a wide range of clients. I moved to Sudbury in September 2021 after getting married.

I love what I do! Music therapy is powerful and rewarding. It produces unbelievable results. I use music and its properties intentionally, as a tool, within a therapeutic relationship, to achieve non-musical goals - in this case, communication goals! I have experience working with children and adults with autism, developmental delays, aphasia and dementia helping them learn to use their voice, speak words, and express themselves in non-verbal and verbal ways.

I have been described as kind, compassionate, caring, and sweet. When not working, I love being in nature hiking, biking and swimming. I am a bookworm and love to read. I also love taking pictures and spending time with family and friends.

Shiwani Rajeev (she/her)

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

I am Shiwani, a curious and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. I thrive on balance, peace, justice and connection. As a self-professed good listener and a social butterfly, I like to work hard and play hard.

Professionally, I am equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Master’s in Swallowing and feeding difficulties from India. My highest interests include paediatric feeding and neurodevelopmental disorders as well as adult neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. Over the years, I have worked as a Speech and Swallowing Pathologist in India at an early year’s clinic and in a hospital. Helping children and adults with speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties reach their full potential in a fun and engaging way feeds my soul. I am proud to offer the best client care possible in an open and accepting environment in English and in a few Indian languages. I also speak and understand Nepali, albeit less fluently than my other languages.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing. It has been one of the most powerful tools for me and a reminder that communication is much more than spoken words. Even in silence, volumes can be spoken.

Danika Paquette-Lelièvre (She/Her)

Rehabilitation Assistant

Hi! I’m Danika, the bilingual Rehab Assistant! In other words, Danika’s my name and rehab is my game! Whether targeting Occupational Therapy (OT), Physiotherapy (PT), or Speech and language therapy (SLP) goals, I’m here for it! I love it all. I’ve always known that my path was to support others in reaching their objectives. As a child, the moment I heard about Bethany Hamilton’s PT and OT journey post-shark attack, I was hooked. While other kids my age were watching and rewatching Disney movies, I was busy learning everything I could about rehab. This passion led me to pediatric respite care, where I gained first-hand experience working with individuals and their families in their everyday realities. I excelled at adapting to their challenges, celebrating their progress, and learning the importance of fun and creativity every step of the way.

Now, as a dedicated Rehab Assistant, I thrive on helping clients enjoy the journey by encouraging them to approach it with patience and commitment. I enjoy the work so much that I have decided to pursue further education in the field of rehab therapies. I am currently preparing to enter into post-graduate studies in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.

When I do get free time, I love gathering with family, learning new things (current topic: braille), and working. I’m lucky to have a career that doubles as my favorite hobby!
